Synopsis

The story centers on Tommy Zhou, a martial arts enthusiast and third-generation Chinese American from Honolulu. Tommy is an inventor who creates a groundbreaking device: wristbands that can generate various solid objects, particularly weapons, out of light and holograms. He develops a superhero persona, "The Weapon," to promote his invention, basing his fabricated origin story on the ancient Chinese legends his grandfather used to tell him as a child.

The central conflict arises when Tommy discovers that his grandfather's stories were not mere legends but historical reality. His invention has unknowingly recreated the long-lost mystical techniques of an ancient organization called the Order of Wu-Shi, known as "The Way of the Weapon".
